About Alarm Clock App

Why we built this, and what comes next.

Why This Exists

The default alarm clock on an iPhone has barely changed in a decade. Same interface. Same snooze button. Same quiet tones that heavy sleepers blow right through. We know because we are those heavy sleepers.

We wanted an alarm that actually works, one that's loud enough to cut through deep sleep, smart enough to force you out of bed, and useful enough to help you build a real morning routine. When we couldn't find exactly what we wanted, we decided to build it.

AlarmClockApp.io started as a free set of browser-based tools: an alarm clock, a countdown timer, a stopwatch, and a world clock. Practical, instant, no install required. You open the page, set your alarm, and it works.

What We're Building

The web tools are just the beginning. We're developing a dedicated loud alarm clock app that goes further than anything your phone's built-in alarm offers. Think mission-based dismissal tasks, anti-snooze mechanics, sleep tracking, and alarm sounds engineered to wake heavy sleepers.

Until our app launches, we've partnered with Alarmy, the most popular loud alarm clock app on the market, so you can get a powerful alarm experience right now on iOS and Android.

Who We Are

We're a small team of developers and designers who are genuinely bad at waking up. That frustration turned into a project. We've tested dozens of alarm apps, read the sleep science research, and talked to shift workers, students, and parents who all share the same problem: the default alarm isn't enough.

Everything on this site, the tools, the guides on waking up early, sleep cycles, and alarm clocks for heavy sleepers, comes from actual experience, not generic content written by someone who sleeps fine with a gentle chime.

Need a Louder Alarm Clock?

An online alarm clock works in a pinch, but a dedicated alarm clock app gives you mission-based wake-ups, anti-snooze features, and sleep tracking. Heavy sleepers swear by it.
